I am a Machine Learning Researcher currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Pattern Recognition and Optimization group at the University of Melbourne. My primary research interests include Deep Neural Networks, Continual Learning, and Bioinformatics.
I completed my PhD in 2023 at the University of Melbourne, where I focused on the challenges associated with neural networks when used on continually generated and high-dimensional data. Previously, I served as a Junior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
